People started
baking pies in the mid 1300s when some bright spark couldn’t find
the Gladwrap so he wrapped last nights beef casserole in some
pastry, baked it into a handheld lunch and invented a new food.
That was in England.
Then the English took pies to Australia and South Africa, New
Zealand and even to America where they didn’t have ovens so they
made pies in a pot and called it a Pot Pie.
So when some Laowai started craving Pie after the best part of ten
years in China they thought they’d set up Pie HQ and bake pies for
everyone. After all who doesn’t love a crispy pastry shell wrapped
around some of the tastiest cuisines of the world ready to eat on
the go?
